Kruger National Park

Situated in the north-eastern part of South Africa, nestles the Kruger National Game Park. The Eastern border of the Kruger Park forms the border between South Africa and Mozambique, and the northern border joins Zimbabwe.

The Kruger National Park is the largest game reserve in Africa, covering 18 989 km², and from north to south stretches an impressive 350 kilometres, and 60 kms from east to west.

Limpopo and Mpumalanga lie to the west and south of the Kruger National Park.The Kruger National Park is now part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, a link with the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe, and Limpopo National Park in Mozambique.

The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. The Kruger National Park was established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld.

Truly the flagship of the South African national parks,The Kruger National Park is home to an impressive number of species , boasting of 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals.
